Lipoedema liposuction and body tightening with laser

In conjunction with liposuction, we also offer our patients skin tightening using a laser.

Patients often suffer from sagging skin in the treated body area after liposuction. This can be counteracted during the operation with laser skin tightening.

Whereas a few years ago, surgical skin tightening was the only option for tightening sagging skin after liposuction, we now have the option of minimally invasive laser treatment during the operation. Additional operations, which were associated with further downtime and scars, can often be avoided.

For laser skin tightening, we insert a laser probe under the skin during the operation. This can be done through the small incisions already made for liposuction so that no further scars occur.

Our laser specifically tightens the skin from the inside. It strengthens existing collagen and elastin fibers and leads to new collagen synthesis for firmer, tighter-looking skin.

In addition to the main effect of tighter skin, the use of the laser also minimizes bleeding, swelling or other tissue injuries (e.g. oedema, haematomas) and post-operative pain.

The first results are visible immediately after the procedure. The final result can be seen after approx. 6 to 12 months.

As after liposuction, you should wear compression garments on the operated areas day and night for 6 weeks. It is advisable to continue wearing them during the day for a further 6 weeks.
