Why can breast correction / breast augmentation improve your quality of life?
Many women attach great importance to a harmonious body image.
You develop a physical and psychological condition if your breasts are disproportionate and/or asymmetrical in relation to the rest of your body or the two breasts in relation to each other. Treatment procedure for breast augmentation at PANTEA® in Munich
Medical treatment comprises several steps: from diagnosis through to completion of treatment.

The first step is a joint consultation. The doctors at PANTEA® take enough time for you and clarify all your questions. Photo documentation and a physical examination are also carried out.

Depending on the findings, we will work with you to determine an individual treatment plan and discuss all the options for optimally implementing your desired treatment.

Together with our patients, we decide on the most suitable surgical method for breast correction or breast augmentation during the consultation.

The day before the operation you should drink enough fluids and get enough sleep so that you can have the operation in a healthy and rested state.

On the day of the breast lift / breast correction operation, you should arrive at the clinic on an empty stomach, i.e. you should not eat anything for at least 6 hours before the operation and not drink anything for at least 2 hours before the operation.

After the operation, our patients receive a "post-op kit". This contains useful aids, as well as hints and tips for optimal behavior during the healing phase and afterwards, as well as high-quality nutritional supplements and nutriceuticals to support the healing phase and the sustainable transition to a healthy and balanced diet.
Of course, we are always available to answer our patients' questions after the operation.

We recommend that you take about 1-2 weeks off after the operation. Aftercare includes wearing a compression bra day and night for approx. 6 weeks. After 4 to 6 weeks you may resume light sports activities.

Follow-up appointments are made after the operation in consultation with the surgeon, depending on the healing process. In addition, follow-up appointments can of course be arranged at any time in the event of uncertainties or questions after the operation.

Before breast augmentation
Blood-thinning medication (e.g. aspirin or similar) should no longer be taken one week before the operation.
If you are a smoker, please stop smoking three weeks before the operation.
Please avoid drinking alcohol for approx. 1 week before the operation.
Make sure you drink enough fluids in the days before the procedure.
Please organize a transfer home for the day of discharge. An accompanying person is absolutely necessary for this.
After breast augmentation
Please stop smoking for at least 3 weeks after the operation.
Please avoid drinking alcohol for approx. 1 week after the operation.
A compression bra must be worn day and night for 6 weeks.

Questions about surgical breast correction / breast augmentation
In principle, breast correction / breast augmentation can be performed on adult women aged 18 and over. Patients are often dissatisfied with the breast shape, breast size, the proportions of the breast to the body size or the proportions between the breasts or the symmetry of the breasts. It can also happen that patients are not satisfied with the aesthetic result after a previous operation performed by another specialist and therefore turn to us.
It should be noted that you should have reached a stable desired weight before breast correction / breast adjustment. You should also have been breastfeeding for at least six months before breast correction / breast augmentation.
A breast correction can be performed as part of a breast augmentation (with implants or autologous fat), a breast reduction or a breast lift as well as breast adjustment and shape correction as a combination operation.
The optimal method is determined together with the patient depending on the findings.
Depending on the findings, the incision and thus the extent of visible scars varies. A so-called "T-incision" is usually necessary. This results in a scar in the area of the underbust crease (later only slightly visible to a limited extent) as well as around the nipple and vertically below it (slightly visible). The advantage of this technique is that, with the help of your own tissue, your body's own inner cushion can be formed through special reshaping, which supports, shapes and stabilizes the breast in the long term as an "inner bra".
In breast augmentation with implants, the implant can be inserted either over the pectoral muscle or under the pectoral muscle. How the implant should be positioned depends largely on the individual circumstances, such as skin cover, breast shape, glandular content, muscles and body fullness. The small incision for this is usually made almost invisibly in the underbust crease after healing - in our experience, this has proven to be extremely gentle and uncomplicated.
In breast correction / breast augmentation in conjunction with breast augmentation and/or a breast lift, our ultimate goal is not only to create symmetrical, proportionally beautiful and firmer breasts, but also to minimize scarring by using the latest techniques.

As a rule, the ability to breastfeed can be maintained. However, there is a risk of an impairment of the ability to breastfeed or a reduction in milk production.
Yes, as part of a breast correction / breast augmentation, the breasts can be enlarged with implants or autologous fat or surgically reduced in size. The aim of the procedure is to correct differences in the shape and size of the breasts as well as developmental deformities.
